Some chronic medications are unable to be called in (i.e. ADHD medication). If you are an established patient on this type of medication and our doctors are the prescribers, call the office when the refill is needed. The prescription will be ready for pick up no later than the following morning.
These medications are stimulants and patients should be monitored at least yearly while on them. Therefore, refills will only be authorized up to a year from the previous well visit.
